Stopping Android GUI services
Well,
this
really worth a cross-post. The way to stop Android GUI services is (under root of course):
setprop ctl.stop zygote
UPDATE: Thanks to hint from
StackOverflow
: there're even simpler commands: "
start
" & "
stop
". Surprise.
